All,

The new version is available here:

As usual, the "v21latest" version will automatically update to this
version, as well:

vZome 2.1 beta 12 restores one of last missing 2.0 features: the
ability to export vector graphics to PDF or SVG files. While doing
this, I added an extra bonus... you can view a 2D line-drawing in
monochrome. This is nice for seeing symmetries that aren't apparent
when the struts are colored by orbit.

There are also a couple of important rendering improvements. The
best one is the removal of the sawtooth patterns that appeared at
polygon intersections! Almost as nice is the use of anti-aliasing.
You're going to love the way models look in this version,
particularly if you like to export images.

Finally, I've added a bit more information to the JNLP files... it is
supposed to associate the ".vZome" file extension with the vZome JNLP
application, so that model files will be double-clickable. My
testing on the Mac does not bear that out, but I know that Java Web
Start on the Mac is a bit behind the curve. I haven't had a chance
to test it yet, but I'm hoping it will give Windows users this
important capability, which we have on the Mac anyway with the
wrapper applications I've built.

Enjoy!

Scott

PS -- one other bug fix: B4 polytope models can now be saved and
reopened successfully.
